It should be noted that telephone numbers provided above are 'At Home' numbers. Therefore discretion should be applied.

To qualify for the VCPS, under the auspices of the ABCCC Vic Inc, your VCPS-permitted motor car must attend a minimum of three (3) club-run events per year, from the date of the vehicle's permit issue.

Details: Sadly cancelled for not enough participants
This is a day where you can invite your children, grandchildren or a friend to race against our current champion Brian Atkins who is being taken on by a former Formula 5000 competitor.
We NEED 15 drivers & plenty of spectators to cheer them on at the Go Kart track on Phillip Island.
Please contact Leigh (0403 243 700) ASAP so that we can get the track to ourselves.

Details: Bring along your Esky again for an enjoyable day out visiting Bassine Cheese for morning tea, scrumptious scones with jam and cream, or choose from tempting baked cheesecake and other goodies. A fine selection of cheese available for purchase, plus their magnificent pure cream and bottled milk (the old way, with the cream on top). The shop also has an interesting stock of locally made products for sale. Travelling from there via delightful back roads (fully sealed) to the Poowong Hotel for lunch.
Meet at the carpark BP Caldermeade 4465 Sth. Gippsland Hwy, which is just past Caldermeade Dairy. DEPARTING PROMPTLY 10AM.

Details: Accommodation at Erica (very reasonable rates) on Tuesday night. There are 7 rooms or Cabins reserved at either the Erica Hotel or Erica Caravan Park Wednesday travel to Walhalla Train (optional) Leaves at 11am (group booking $25pp will need numbers)

AGM will start at 2pm with lunch (cost $20) starting at 12 noon. RSVP for lunch count by 19 March please.

7 Out for lunch with the Tootells - An ABCCC Event. Contact: Bryan Tootell 0412 549 906
Details: We will meet at Lilydale Lake at 9.30 for 10,00am departure to Healesville for morning tea, and then onto the Home Hotel, Launching Place. NOTE: the proposed route includes approx 500metres of 2nd class road.
If you would like to join us, please respond by 1st April so catering can be confirmed.

Details: We will meet 10:15 - 10:30 am for morning tea at Hahndorf's Chocolatier Cafe - 960 Mt Dandenong Road Montrose . Around 11.30 we will be leaving convoy style to Pine Grove Hotel Upper Beaconsfield - route instructions will be provided as well- just in case. Trip distance 55 Kms and at legal speed arrive 12.30 pm or so. Expect a pleasant drive. We will be provided with table service for drinks and meals- more time for chatter . Senior Menu will be available as well.

To celebrate National Motoring Heritage Day
Details: Travel down the Peninsular Link and meet at 9.30 am for a coffee stop at the outbound BP service and restaurant at 1401, Peninsular Link Trail Baxter. Depart BP at 10.30 am and travel to the National Trust McCrae Homestead arriving at 11 am for a guided tour of the historic homestead.

Venue: Eastwood Golf Club 332 Liverpool Road Kilsyth South - 12:00 for 12:30 service; $45pp Members Only Event
The annual club luncheon will be at the same great venue as last year, book early to make sure of a seat. Members only, as it is a club subsidised lunch with drinks. A three course menu has been selected.

Details: Please join us for lunch at the Yarra Valley Grand Hotel, 19 Bell Street, Service Rd, Yarra Glen on Sunday the 25th August at 12 00. There are three Antique Stores in the Main Street if you feel like a wander before or after or go for a short drive to visit the Yarra Valley Chocolaterie.

Details: We will be commencing the run at the Ampol Service Station / Hungry Jacks at the turn off M1 ( Princess Freeway & Labertouche, Lonwarry ) C421. It's a beautiful run through the hills to our lunch stop at the Austral Hotel in Korumburra. There will be time to explore the many Op Shops & gift stores before moving on to our Motel in Foster. We are looking forward to seeing you there.

Details: We will meet at Lilydale Lake (off Swansea Road) at 9am for a 9:30 departure.
Our drive will take on a scenic route (not Maroondah Highway) to Healesville. Here will stop for coffee/tea. After refreshments, we will continue our journey to the Dandenong Hills where we will enjoy a lunch at one of the many establishments in the area.
Please advise of your participation so that I can advise of numbers for catering purposes.

Details: Lunch will be at the Travellers Rest Hotel Thorpdale
This run will commence at the BP Service Station Monash Hwy Officer South, were toilets and coffee are available.
The drive to lunch is 121 Kms on bitumen roads taking in part of the Grandridge Road, the views from the road are spectacular.

Details: Depart Monday 28th October via Bendigo To overnite KERANG. Tuesday 29th via Lake Boga, Swan Hill, Robinvale to MILDURA for 4 nites Wed 30th, Thur 31st, Fri 1st Nov in Mildura. - 3 days of visits, Activities, & free time, in Mildura. Sat 2nd Nov. via Red Cliffs, Ouyen, Sea Lake, Wycheproof to overnite CHARLTON. Sun 3rd Home via route best suited to you.
If you have booked with Lance & Adele Brazier, please confirm. If you want to join our Tour, Please contact us. Accommodation Bookings and other information will be provided to you. At this stage we have rooms available, however they are limited & cannot be held for too long. Longest day travel is 300 km. on reasonable to good roads [110 kph on some ]

13 Visit to Beleura in Mornington - An ABCCC Event. Contact: Robyn and Robert Joiner 0413 842 696
Details: Beleura House is an elegant mansion built in 1863 and was home to successive generations of distinguished Australians over 160 years, its last owner was John Tallis of J C Williams a global theatrical empire. Beleura is one of the few surviving exclusive summer retreats built for Melbourne merchants that ringed the Mornington Peninsular. Beleura is exceptional not only for its fine architecture but for the intimate and personal life it reveals of its last owner.

Details: Club Christmas lunch will be held at the: Chirnside Park Country Club. Cost is $48 per person (this is subsidised by the Club for members & their partners only) Drinks, beer, wine and soft drinks will be supplied by the Club. RSVP by payment by EFT or cheque (see newsletter).
