Dear fellow motoring enthusiast,

It is my pleasure on behalf of RACV to invite you to participate in the 2012 RACV Fly the Flag Heritage Tour. Past tour surveys have identified the need for shorter travel distances each day where practical and two-day stopovers to be included in the tour. These requests have been taken into consideration when planning the 2012 RACV Fly the Flag Heritage Tour. RACV invites you to join this heritage tour and promote historic motoring to the Victorian Westem District regional community.

The tour will travel from Melbourne to Barwon Park, Winchelsea for our luncheon stop. After a tour of the mansion we travel to Warnambool for our first two-night stopover. We then travel to Mt Gambier for our second two-night stopover. Our two day stays in Warmambool and Mt Gambier will ensure we have sufficient time to enjoy the many varied activities on offer in these popular tourist destinations.

We will then travel to Hamilton for the next overnight stop. Day six will see us heading for Ballarat and our fancy dress finale dinner. On the final day of our tour we travel to Melbourne and our presentation and farewell luncheon at Ultima Function Centre, Keilor.

As with previous tours we will visit some of Victoria's historic towns, homesteads, many tourist attractions and car clubs throughout the Western District of Victoria.

RACV is pleased to subsidise part of the cost of this event and will also provide road service patrols to escort the tour all the way.

I invite You to come and join us and continue the fellowship of the road tradition, wave the flag and participate in this special touring experience in a beautiful part of Victoria with the best of company.

In order to register for this event complete the entry form on this brochure and mail to the postal address shown for the tour. The event will be limited to two hundred vehicles so book early to avoid disappointment.

Sincerely
Peter Chandler, RACV President and Chairman
